Man’s greatest need is forgiveness of sin.  It is sin that enslaves us, robbing us of joy, peace, love and freedom to be what God intended us to be.  Forgiveness is so important to God that He sent His only begotten Son (John 3:16) to die in your place and thereby purchase your freedom.  Sadly, we most often to repress and conceal our sin and subsequently, forfeit joy and spiritual freedom.  Don’t commit yourself to bondage after Jesus has set you free.

My Dad would often explain to me the need for an education so that I would be able to “get ahead” in life.  For many of us “getting ahead” means acquiring money, possession and property.  I have two questions for you is:  When is it enough? Ever wonder how God views our offenses inflicted on others?  You and I may consider and classify offenses as Grave, Serious, Major, Mild, Minor and Insignificant but how does God view them.  We classify them as such even if we’re the offended party but we’ve all seen a “Minor” offense have “Grave” consequences depending on a variety of details. “Minor” offences are like minor scratches and thorn pricks, they can be infected and cause great illness and even loss of life or limb.  Spiritual “wound care” is of vital importance.   Jesus teaches that we’re to avoid all offenses and when we are offended we should bring it to the offender’s attention and seek resolution.  If we offend it is then incumbent that we seek forgiveness.  Offending/Hurting one another; it’s serious business.
