15 This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief. 1 Tim 1:15

Paul never lost sight nor overcame his personal salvation experience.  In his eyes the simplicity of the Gospel is what made it so powerful.  Christ came to this world to save sinners; that’s it; the Gospel in a nutshell!  He also never lost sight of the fact that it was sin that made Jesus’ death necessary.  Let us never forget that we sinned, that Jesus died for us and that victory is our because of this.

We will observe the Lord’s Supper at the end of this morning’s worship service.  Begin now that spiritual self-examination and prepare to receive it.
