Character; What's yours?

42 And the Lord said, "Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his master will make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of food in due season?
43 Blessed is that servant whom his master will find so doing when he comes.
44 Truly, I say to you that he will make him ruler over all that he has.  Luke 12:42-44 (NKJV)

Character; what's yours?  One of Webster's Dictionary definitions for human character is: "one of the attributes or features that make up and distinguish an individual". So again, what's your character? One practical definition is to do that which is right, honest and just; even when no one is watching.

Could this be what Jesus was getting to in the verses above? Yes, Jesus is coming but He's also watching over us and I believe wants us to do that which is right, just and honest. Let's all be about our Father's business until Jesus comes.

Ever wonder how God views our offenses inflicted on others?  You and I may consider and classify offenses as Grave, Serious, Major, Mild, Minor and Insignificant but how does God view them.  We classify them as such even if we’re the offended party but we’ve all seen a “Minor” offense have “Grave” consequences depending on a variety of details. “Minor” offences are like minor scratches and thorn pricks, they can be infected and cause great illness and even loss of life or limb.  Spiritual “wound care” is of vital importance.   Jesus teaches that we’re to avoid all offenses and when we are offended we should bring it to the offender’s attention and seek resolution.  If we offend it is then incumbent that we seek forgiveness.  Offending/Hurting one another; it’s serious business.
