In Christ we are made whole.

"For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace," Isaiah 9:6 (NKJV)

Some seven hundred years before the birth of Jesus the Prophet Isaiah foretold His coming. God's final solution to man's bondage in sin is found in the Christ child whose birth we celebrate this month. In Christ is freedom from the penalty of sin, safety from the enemy's snares, peace in the midst of turmoil and joy in the midst of sadness. In Christ we are made whole.

Ever wonder how God views our offenses inflicted on others? You and I may consider and classify offenses as Grave, Serious, Major, Mild, Minor and Insignificant but how does God view them. We classify them as such even if we’re the offended party but we’ve all seen a “Minor” offense have “Grave” consequences depending on a variety of details. “Minor” offences are like minor scratches and thorn pricks, they can be infected and cause great illness and even loss of life or limb. Spiritual “wound care” is of vital importance. Jesus teaches that we’re to avoid all offenses and when we are offended we should bring it to the offender’s attention and seek resolution.
