The Bible, God's Word, is full of reasons why we should be grateful to God at all times.

"Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning." James 1:17 (NKJV)

The Bible, God's Word, is full of reasons why we should be grateful to God at all times. Mankind are finite creatures; that is we have a beginning and eventual end to our existence. It's perhaps vain of us to think we're solely responsible for all the blessings we call ours. To live in a land of freedom and liberty, to live in a land of which it can be said it "flows with milk and honey" all these things we as individuals did not gain on our own. Our benefits today are the result of those that came before us and yes, above all from and through the hand of God. How's your list of "Gratitudes & Blessings" coming?

Ever wonder how God views our offenses inflicted on others?  You and I may consider and classify offenses as Grave, Serious, Major, Mild, Minor and Insignificant but how does God view them.  We classify them as such even if we’re the offended party but we’ve all seen a “Minor” offense have “Grave” consequences depending on a variety of details. “Minor” offences are like minor scratches and thorn pricks, they can be infected and cause great illness and even loss of life or limb.  Spiritual “wound care” is of vital importance.   Jesus teaches that we’re to avoid all offenses and when we are offended we should bring it to the offender’s attention and seek resolution.  If we offend it is then incumbent that we seek forgiveness.  Offending/Hurting one another; it’s serious business. "Patience is a Virtue" you've heard it said and it's one most of us neglect to seek. Patience is really a prime element of successful living. Good parents are patient parents, good cooks are patient, good teachers are patient, good fishermen are patient, good workers are patient and good Christians are patient.
