Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

“Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness” are the “inalienable rights” claimed in the U.S. Declaration of Independence.  That document notified the British government of our intent to wage war to secure and maintain those freedoms.  Those “rights” could also be described as “blessedness” and holy security. God’s plan for securing life, liberty and pursuit of happiness involves living under His direction and for His purposes.  True freedom comes not from unbridled living but from self-control and dedication to a just cause.  Your spiritual freedom in this world will result in eternal security and happiness.  Your salvation and fellowship with God are just causes.  Trust God and be blessed.
“Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.”  Gal 5:1 (KJV)

Read your Bible.

It has been said that in the heart of man is a God shaped void which can only be filled by the presence of God. Mankind has a hunger and thirst for the fulfillment only God can bring but sadly we seek to feed the hunger and quench the thirst with worldly things. God knows what we have need of and has written us a guide to discover how to have fullness of joy and peace. Read your Bible. 4 And these things we write to you that your joy may be full.  1 John 1:4 (NKJV)

Ever wonder how God views our offenses inflicted on others?  You and I may consider and classify offenses as Grave, Serious, Major, Mild, Minor and Insignificant but how does God view them.  We classify them as such even if we’re the offended party but we’ve all seen a “Minor” offense have “Grave” consequences depending on a variety of details. “Minor” offences are like minor scratches and thorn pricks, they can be infected and cause great illness and even loss of life or limb.  Spiritual “wound care” is of vital importance.   Jesus teaches that we’re to avoid all offenses and when we are offended we should bring it to the offender’s attention and seek resolution.  If we offend it is then incumbent that we seek forgiveness.  Offending/Hurting one another; it’s serious business. In God’s eyes it is a sin and one that will not go unnoticed nor unpunished is not dealt with properly. 1 Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but...

1 Hearken to me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek the Lord: look unto the rock whence ye are hewn, and to the hole of the pit whence ye are digged. 2 Look unto Abraham your father, and unto Sarah that bare you: for I called him alone, and blessed him, and increased him.   Isaiah 51:1-2 (KJV) The art or process of mapping a journey overland, sea, air or space requires the use of fixed or known reference points along the route.   It naturally begins with a starting points and the identification of a destination.   When covering large distances “way points” are established to (1) measure distance traveled and for (2) course correction to ensure one is still on the planned route.   Way points are also places where one can restock supplies, rest and refit for the journey.   The Hebrews of Isaiah’s time had a “history” with God and here He calls them for a stroll down memory lane.   Modern day Believers also have a “history” with ...
