The wise will seek Him, the true will obey Him, committed will serve Him and the faithful will reap great reward!

1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. Psalms 91:1 (KJV) What an amazing promise of both temporal and eternal security!   But just how do we find that “secret place of the most High” to live there?   It isn’t so much an actual place or location as it is a condition of being.   That “secret place” is to be in unity and at peace with God and that is only achieved by total obedience to His Word and Will.   We can get there from here but there is a small price to be paid.   We’ll need to surrender our lives to Him, open our minds to His Will, love Him with all our hearts, follow where He leads and do the works that please Him.    The wise will seek Him, the true will obey Him, committed will serve Him and the faithful will reap great reward!

Ever feel like the whole world has come against you?

Ever feel like the whole world has come against you? Nothing goes your way, everything you attempt fails and at best, your future us bleak.   Bad   luck, circumstance or perhaps spiritual trial or Godly punishment! All of these things are possible, buy why?    Why me?   Why me?   You cry out!   Life is not fair!   Ever consider your misfortunes are not due to anybody else’s fault but your own?   God’s blessing is not really upon us until we truly live and walk in His Will.   When a man's ways please the Lord, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.   Prov. 16:7   How about it?   Is your life pleasing to God today?   If we desire “goodness” should we not sow it?    “7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.” Gal   6:7-8

“Hand out” and a “Hand up”....What's the difference?

Ever contemplate the difference between a “hand out” and a “hand up”?   A hand out may appear to be the answer to our dilemma, but it only meets an immediate need and usually insufficiently so.   A “hand up” elevates us from a depressing or hopeless situation and sets us on solid ground with a perspective and fresh horizons.   Salvation is in and by Jesus lifts us from our fallen sinful condition and forever makes us stand on the solid rock of God’s eternal promise.   From such a lofty vantage point we can see where we were and where we are going.   In Jesus, a glorious eternity lies before us. 1 I waited patiently for the Lord; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. 2 He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. 3 And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the Lord. 4 Blessed is that man that maketh the Lor

Great week of revival!

What a great week of revival we've had!  Gary Newman and wife Janis have been such a blessing as they've ministered to our Dorcas Ladies, have brought wonderful music and powerful preaching to us. Thanks everyone who's participated in organizing our church for revival, attended faithfully, supported it financially and prayed for it fervently.  Continue to pray for revival and seek ways to make yourself more available to God through His Church. I love you Guys!, Pastor

Well done, good and faithful servant...

23 His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.   Matt 25:23 (KJV) This line taken from a parable by Jesus to describe judgment day should cause to reflect how and why we serve Him or why we do not.  Salvation is the product of faith and not works (Rom. 6:23) but it is works (James 2:18)  that demonstrates our faith and obedience to God.  If you stood before God today, what would you have to show for all He has entrusted to you?  Will YOU be welcomed into the “the joy of thy Lord?”
