Good fathers are in such short supply...

Good fathers are in such short supply and never so much sorely needed as today.   Good fathers learn to be such because they study and learn where, when and how to draw the line between a child’s needs and wants.   Good fathers are always o duty, even when his children have left home.   Good fathers teach their children to pray, love, give, respect and honor through humble example. Good fathers are willing to take the road less traveled to show their children the path of righteousness.   Good fathers bravely make the unpopular decisions and trust in the wisdom of God.   Good fathers have warm places in their children’s hearts. Good fathers are not ever perfect in their own eyes and hearts but are bigger than life heroes in the hearts of their children.   Good fathers introduce God to their children by allowing Him to live in and through them. Good fathers can stand their ground because they’re standing on the Rock! Good fathers won’t and don’t have to brag about their heroic deeds

Are you prepared to worship today?

If you’re reading this you’re sitting in the P.I.B.-C.C. auditorium preparing to worship.  Are you prepared to worship today?  When Moses scaled Mount Sinai to see the “burning bush” that was not consumed God called to Him then stopped his progress saying; “Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground.”  Ex 3:5 (KJV)   The implication of this is clear.  On the soles of your sandal is filth that will dishonor the holy place of God’s presence.  God is present here today, before we worship, will you take time to prepare for worship.  Confess your sin, open your heart, mind and life to Him. Now, worship in “spirit and in truth” as He desires to be worshiped. You’re standing on “Holy Ground”.
