“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.” 2 Tim 3:1 (KJV)

“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.” 2 Tim 3:1 (KJV) Even a casual watcher or reader of the news media cannot help but be overwhelmed at the state of our world.   Wars and rumors of wars, racial and ethnic violence, drought and flood induced famine, child/spousal abuse, drug abuse, genocide and the list goes on.   Our world is tearing itself apart and there seems to be no hope in sight. Believer in Jesus, are you feeling hopeless and helpless?   You need not be, regardless of our situation, God is still in control.   Listen to Jesus: “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.”   John 14:1 (KJV) Now, spread the Word, share Faith, Hope and Love with your neighbor.
Man’s greatest need is forgiveness of sin.  It is sin that enslaves us, robbing us of joy, peace, love and freedom to be what God intended us to be.  Forgiveness is so important to God that He sent His only begotten Son (John 3:16) to die in your place and thereby purchase your freedom.  Sadly, we most often to repress and conceal our sin and subsequently, forfeit joy and spiritual freedom.  Don’t commit yourself to bondage after Jesus has set you free.   “DON’T REPRESS IT; CONFESS IT!  DON’T CONCEAL IT; REVEAL IT!”   -- RICK WARREN

Lord had called us for to preach the gospel unto them...

9 And a vision appeared to Paul in the night; There stood a man of Macedonia, and prayed him, saying, Come over into Macedonia, and help us. 10 And after he had seen the vision, immediately we endeavored to go into Macedonia, assuredly gathering that the Lord had called us for to preach the gospel unto them.  Acts 16:9-10 (KJV) Obedience to God’s Will is what drives believers to serve on mission fields throughout the world whether full or on a part-time basis.  Their obedience is always in response to a real need that God has revealed to them.  Today we welcome Pastor Mike Wakeman and Missionaries from New Life Fellowship, Holden, MO.  Our churches have partnered to present the Jerusalem Project to Corpus Christi.  Come out and join us this week and share in our blessing.
