Obedience to God’s Will is what drives believers to serve on mission fields throughout the world whether full or on a part-time basis.  Their obedience is always in response to a real need that God has revealed to them.  Today we welcome Pastor Mike Wakeman and Missionaries from New Life Fellowship, Holden, MO.  Our churches have partnered to present the Jerusalem Project to Corpus Christi.  Come out and join us this week and share in our blessing.

Ever wonder how God views our offenses inflicted on others?  You and I may consider and classify offenses as Grave, Serious, Major, Mild, Minor and Insignificant but how does God view them.  We classify them as such even if we’re the offended party but we’ve all seen a “Minor” offense have “Grave” consequences depending on a variety of details. “Minor” offences are like minor scratches and thorn pricks, they can be infected and cause great illness and even loss of life or limb.  Spiritual “wound care” is of vital importance.   Jesus teaches that we’re to avoid all offenses and when we are offended we should bring it to the offender’s attention and seek resolution.  If we offend it is then incumbent that we seek forgiveness.  Offending/Hurting one another; it’s serious business.
