Deepen your experience with God today; open your mind, heart and “spiritual ears” and listen to what the Holy Spirit is saying...

9 And a vision appeared to Paul in the night; There stood a man of Macedonia, and prayed him, saying, Come over into Macedonia, and help us. 10 And after he had seen the vision, immediately we endeavoured to go into Macedonia, assuredly gathering that the Lord had called us for to preach the gospel unto them.    Acts 16:9-10 (KJV) Christians are “indwelt” by God’s Holy Spirit upon believing and trusting in Jesus as Lord and Savior.   Our growth in knowledge, wisdom, works and success is directly tied to our degree of sensitivity and obedience to the Spirit’s call to service.   Here Paul is a prime example of one believer’s response to the Spirit’s Call to action.   Deepen your experience with God today; open your mind, heart and “spiritual ears” and listen to what the Holy Spirit is saying to you this day!

Believers in and followers of Jesus are always on duty; ministering in His name or presenting a defense of our faith!

37 Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them. 38 And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants. 39 And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through. 40 Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.  Luke 12:37-40 (KJV) At our nation’s beginning armed militias known as “Minutemen” organized, armed, trained and stood ready to respond in a “minute” when called at a time of danger.   Their readiness contributed enormously to the success of us gaining our independence.   Christians on the other hand are always on duty as the call the answered needed to be heard only once.   Here

Invest your life in those things that will bear eternal fruit and are under God’s Protection.

31 But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you. 32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom. 33 Sell that ye have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth. 34 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. Luke 12:31-34 (KJV) To be “pro-active” is to be a what many call a “mover and a shaker”.   It’s a self-initiated attitude where one refuses to be held back and settle for status quo living or results.   Here Jesus Himself gives us advice for succeeding as a believer.   Seek God above all, trust in God’s Promise, invest your life in those things that will bear eternal fruit and are under God’s Protection.

Pray harder within God’s Will and live holier lives than ever before...

7 For they have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind: it hath no stalk: the bud shall yield no meal: if so be it yield, the strangers shall swallow it up.   Hosea 8:7 (KJV) Israel had sinned against God by falling away and worshiping lifeless idol, the image of a calf.   In doing so they set in motion events that would bring utter calamity in their lives.   Blinded by their own greed and fleshly desires they ignored common sense, nature and even God’s Law.   The fruit of their labors would come back to haunt them on the road to destruction.   Sadly, our nation has followed the lead of the Godless nations of the world and now she too “shall reap the whirlwind” of God’s wrath.   As God’s People we must now draw closer to God and each other, pray harder within God’s Will and live holier lives than ever before.
