You are twice mine, I created you and today I have redeemed you

     A young boy built a small sailboat, placed it in a pond to sail for the first time.  The wind quickly carried it out of his reach to the other side of the pond.  He hurried to retrieve it but when he arrived another boy had picked it up and held it.  Knowing who the boy was, the finder quickly declared “Finder keepers, Losers weepers!”  The little boat builder was sad and then asked “How much will you sell it to me for?”  They agreed on a price and the exchange was made.
     The young builder looked at his boat and said “You are twice mine, I created you and today I have redeemed you.”  We were made by God; we became lost to Him because of our sin.  Today, He wants to redeem you.  Will you surrender to Him today and let Jesus pay the price of your redemption?

18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver
     and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;
19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

Read your Bible.

It has been said that in the heart of man is a God shaped void which can only be filled by the presence of God. Mankind has a hunger and thirst for the fulfillment only God can bring but sadly we seek to feed the hunger and quench the thirst with worldly things. God knows what we have need of and has written us a guide to discover how to have fullness of joy and peace. Read your Bible. 4 And these things we write to you that your joy may be full.  1 John 1:4 (NKJV)

Are you “on schedule” with God or are you running late? If not; today is a good time to start catching up!
