Thank you ladies for contributing to our lives in a positive way and HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!!

6 Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands.”  2 Tim 1:5-6 (KJV)

Paul calls upon Timothy to “stir up the gift of God” that is in him by reminding him of the lessons in faith Timothy learned from his mother and grandmother.  Their influence enabled Timothy to be the servant God called him to be.

What an awesome gift these ladies gave Timothy! Mothers are so important in our lives and especially so in the lives of young children in their formative years. Thank you ladies for contributing to our lives in a positive way and HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!!

Ever wonder how God views our offenses inflicted on others?  You and I may consider and classify offenses as Grave, Serious, Major, Mild, Minor and Insignificant but how does God view them.  We classify them as such even if we’re the offended party but we’ve all seen a “Minor” offense have “Grave” consequences depending on a variety of details. “Minor” offences are like minor scratches and thorn pricks, they can be infected and cause great illness and even loss of life or limb.  Spiritual “wound care” is of vital importance.   Jesus teaches that we’re to avoid all offenses and when we are offended we should bring it to the offender’s attention and seek resolution.  If we offend it is then incumbent that we seek forgiveness.  Offending/Hurting one another; it’s serious business.
