Many years ago and just out of high school I went to work for a construction company.  Every day as I entered the worksite were signs reading “Hard Hat Area” or “Steel Toed Shoes Must Be Worn” or “Fall Protection Required” and etc..  Construction and industrial facilities have a vested interest in safeguarding their employees and for good reason; it saves lives, protects employee health and in the end, saves money. 

God too seeks to protect the investment He made in us and for good reason.  Believers who wear their spiritual protection lead Spirit led lives, lead the lost to Jesus and save souls.  Wear your protection daily, our world is a dangerous place.

Ever wonder how God views our offenses inflicted on others?  You and I may consider and classify offenses as Grave, Serious, Major, Mild, Minor and Insignificant but how does God view them.  We classify them as such even if we’re the offended party but we’ve all seen a “Minor” offense have “Grave” consequences depending on a variety of details. “Minor” offences are like minor scratches and thorn pricks, they can be infected and cause great illness and even loss of life or limb.  Spiritual “wound care” is of vital importance.   Jesus teaches that we’re to avoid all offenses and when we are offended we should bring it to the offender’s attention and seek resolution.  If we offend it is then incumbent that we seek forgiveness.  Offending/Hurting one another; it’s serious business.
