Are you standing by He who has "the words of eternal life"?

67 Then Jesus said to the twelve, "Do you also want to go away"
68 But Simon Peter answered Him, "Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.
69 Also we have come to believe and know that You are the Christ, the Son of the living God."
John 6:63-69 (NKJV)

Ever wonder why some church members seem to fade and fall away from church attendance and service? There can be various reasons but often some do so because there was never a true commitment to Christ to begin with. We can make excuses for them or us but true commitment cannot be faked for very long. John put it this way: "They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they have been of us, they would have continued with us; but they went out that they might be made manifest, that none of them were of us.
